Old Orchard Country Club Wedding Mt Prospect

Old Orchard Country Club Wedding | Whole Heart Video

Bridget and Zach’s Old Orchard Country Club wedding in Mt Prospect was a family-centered celebration with children of all ages! Not to sound too much like a ringmaster there, but it’s absolutely true. There was a full wedding party with adorable flower girls, dapper ring bearers, and of course, Bridget and Zach’s closest friends and family. One thing about the couples I work with at Whole Heart Video, their wedding days always have a dash of humor somewhere in the mix!

Sometimes that sense of humor and spirit of fun carries into the entire wedding day. And, other times, it comes out in waves at specific moments of the day. I always love getting to witness a speech or toast filled with antics and Bridget and Zach’s wedding party did not disappoint. They started out their speech by blowing the dust off their notes, classic! Needless to say, Bridget and Zach’s relationship was heavy on the long-term, and their friends and family couldn’t wait until they finally tied the knot.

Curious to know how the bride and groom originally met? Well, it’s a tale as old as time. But, let’s just say that a Facebook friend request was involved. Along with a super smooth DM from Zach, that went a little something like this. “Hey, do I know you?” With a line like that they were bound for a romantic tale! In all seriousness. Bridget and Zach spent the years of their relationship growing together, and doing life side by side, every step of the way. During that time, their love for one another continued to grow, flourish, and thrive.

Bridget and Zach’s wedding at  Old Orchard Country Club in Mt Prospect was a culmination of the years they began to collect together. They kept their wedding ceremony traditional, with vows at St. Juliana Parish. All in all, their wedding ceremony was very white rose petals lining the way, and a proud Dad escorting his daughter on her wedding day. You could feel the energy in the church come to life with an abundance of love as Bridget and Zach’s guests looked on with faces full of smiles while they took their vows.

With Bridget and Zach officially announced Mr. and Mrs., their guests lined the outdoor entranceway of the church for a fun exit. Their guests were given bells and ribbon wands to wave at the newlyweds as they took their first steps into their new adventure as husband and wife. Naturally, that adventure brought them to their wedding reception celebration at Old Orchard Country Club. The decor at the reception was very classic with all white everything. But almost juxtaposed by the wedding party’s attire. The bridesmaids all wore a chalky shade of blue and the groomsmen were dressed in black suits and ties.

Bridget and Zach must have been practicing, because the way they spun around the dance floor told me they might’ve already done this a time or two! But, my personal favorite moment was Bridget’s dance with her father. I have never witnessed such a doting, loving father. They ended their dance with the sweetest hug and Bridget was overcome with emotion. You can see every moment of Bridget and Zach’s wedding at Old Orchard Country Club in Mt. Prospect, in the video below!
